Vehicle safari remains excellent for covering large tracts of land and therefore observing a huge abundance and variety of wildlife. This is a favourite method for first-time guests and photographers. However, varying activities provides you with a more rounded experience.
Head out after dark to open up a world teeming with a new cast of wildlife or observe wildlife from a unique vantage point as you float over areas of vast wilderness in a hot air balloon. Step out of your vehicle and remove the barrier between you and the flora and fauna to gain a deeper connection with your surroundings and the wildlife you are sharing the land with. Those more experienced or particularly outdoorsy guests may wish to undertake a multi-day walking and/or canoeing expedition. Head out onto the water where the roles are reversed as you are now physically lower than the wildlife and they appear to be game watching you from the river banks as you canoe down the waterways. Head to the Indian Ocean and continue your wildlife watching experiences under the water by undertaking diving or snorkelling excursions or expeditions.
